Thank you cards

Wow, it's been awhile. In July I went to the Papercrafts Scrapbooking convention. Took a couple of classes; learned some new things. Though I haven't practiced none of them yet. One thing I did do, was to finish what I started in class. Last year when I went, I still have the kits half done. I said I was going to get to them also but haven't yet. Sort of lost my motivation. My daughter asked me to make her some thank you cards. She needs quit a few; so I'm really trying to get back into this. It's funny I may have lost the motivation, but I'm still buying paper and supplies. lol The cards below I've seen at the show; I changed them a little to make them "me"

Today is one of my granddaughters birthday and she is "16". I love the Forever Young "Cricut" cartridge. One of these days I will make pretty note cards and put them in a paper purse.

School girls would love this notebook to carry around

This was a kit from "Lasting Impressions" A composition book
that was covered with the patterned paper that was supplied
with the kit. I know once I show my granddaugther she will want it. I will
make a couple more but it won't have the purse look as seen.

I did this card some years ago. I just like the flowers.

I love the colors I chose. And this card took me forever with many mistakes, but I did give up.

The patterned paper is from My Daily Bread Designs that I had  for over a year now. I have so much paper
that I think I'm over whelmed as what to do with it. But this is the most I've done in a month than in 5 years.

I've been busy.

Though I haven't posted anything in a while, I've been busy. I've complete four pages. My new problem though is taking the pictures. My cell phone camera takes better pictures than my camera.

So now I need to find the instruction booklet to resize my pictures.

I just love this picture of my great grand

Why did it take me all afternoon to come up with this simple design.
I love the colors. The white paper I traced from paper that I purchased
at AC Moore and places it on top of the poka dotted paper. The rest
is scraps.

Kind of neat

This is my plate of strawberries after I ate them. I thought it was kind of neat. I might just cut around the plate and use this as a background. LOL
